October 10-14, 2004 Group Trip To The
Hotel Punta Colorada

This group consisted of 36 anglers aboard ten cruisers
(Note: Not all of the group was present  for the photo)

The tally is as follows:

96 Yellwofin Tuna to 80 pounds
88 Dorado to 25 pounds
3 Sailfish to 110 pounds (all released)
1 Roosterfish
1 Wahoo 77 pounds
3 White Bonita to 10 pounds
10 Triggerfish to 5 pounds
1 Pargo
1 Striped Marlin to 150 pounds (released)

Scott Strain of Hayward, CA won the Grand Prize for the largest billfish released
and was four days, three nights, two days fishing for two.

This award was presented to help promote the catch and release of billfish in the sea of Cortez
by Cabo Fishing Tours, the Hotel Punta Colorada, Hotel Playa del Sol, and
Hotel Palmas de Cortez.
